Best day ever

So my to do list today was ordinary. I needed some things from the hardware store, I needed to returns stuff, and I needed some stamps. Just average Joe sorta stuff. But somehow, through getting somewhat lost, I stumbled into another world...

We start our tale off with Cash. I'm pretty sure he's suicidal. He keeps spitting out his food and won't eat, so in turn it makes his water dirty so he can't breath. I decided since he is trying to end his life trapped in a plastic bowl, I would get some pictures while I still could. He's all black and bitchen.
Then after that, I decided I was going to document my day. Just cause I was bored and had nothing else to do at all.

So I decided to show everyone my amazing new Bronco's shirt. And yes, it's blue, and my pants were blue, and I was breaking my number one rule! I know I know! Shut up. Anyways... I also just got over infentigo (I can never spell that dumb word). So if you are wondering what's wrong with my face, now you know. I'm happy ‘cause it should be gone by Monday.

Then I made a delicious smoothie. I mean...AMAZING! The recipe I use was actually a God given accident that happened when I first moved to Boise. Rocks my socks. Then I made funny faces cause I rock like that. Word.

Then I tried to look all think-ish, ‘cause I start college on Monday. But in reality I was lookin at a tree.
And THEN I spied on the neighbors. Or at least pretended too... And Finally...I took some glamour shots. My eyes are stunning with my blue shirt. Not to brag or anything, but my daddy gave me some good genes. Thanks pappa! This is my awesome internet connection. I can't even tell you how amazing this is. These two little boxes give Ashley and I wireless internet that is so freaking fast, it knocked my socks off the first time I used it! No joke.

Here is a picture of my mom calling. Though I wasn't really annoyed I just wanted a picture that looked like I was. (Love ya mom)
Well I guess it's time to do some running around so I can come home and clean some stuff up. TO THE GARAGE....AWAAAAAAY!
Phewf! I made it to the garage. First stop...Maverik for a caffeine kick.
Just barely pulled in and Gramma J gives me a jingle. She is helpful enough to tell me where to find a post office or 2 so I can nab some stamps. Then I get half way to Famous Footwear (I had to return some boots I bought because I'm poor) and realize I didn't grab the stupid boots. So I turn around, and once I'm in the drive way I take this crappy picture. Ta DA!
Then I head over to the hardware store to make some keys for the house. Easy as pie, but I forgot to take a picture...I know how dare I!
K, so now I've made it to Famous and got me some cash. Obviously! (and it burned a hole right through my pocket)

I get back on the Connector and realize, as I'm just flowin with traffic, I'm speeding! GASP! So I slow it down and drive like a white girl for a while.

As I'm exiting the Connector I see this big blue sign that says POST OFFICE ->
So I'm all excited and turn right. But once I find it I am confused as to HOW I get into their parking lot exactly, so I think "screw it" and keep driving. Which consequently got me lost! For the first time since I've been here! But I see the street Americana, and remembered my grandma mentioning it, so I took it. Then I see Ann Morrison Park, and I know where that is in relation to me house! But as dumb luck would have it, they are having an event at Ann Morrison on this fine Saturday summer day.

So as I turn in I see this huge fountain! It was fantastic. Then I enter this free event. (after I found somewhere to park) And it was this whole big deal to celebrate bikes. People were even in costume and such, well some of them. So I’m just walking around and I hear this chickyelling at everyone, saying come watch our show! So I think…OKAY! And it was the funniest thing ever. It was this play called “Death to the Circes” It was just this kickin little group of 4 people doing stunts that was sorta tied into a script. It started off with this guy, who was the bad guy... I loved his costume! He was hilarious, and I loved his ‘stache! (but I'm way super bummed I didn't get anymore pictures of him.)
Then this guy came out. In the show his name was Mike. Then Dashing Dave came out.(they blinked at the same time!)
Then Lulu. Then the 2 guys (The Handsome Little Devils is their name) continued to do sweet sauce tricks. It started out with hats…Then they tell everyone that they are gonna do the 3rd greatest stunt in the world. And it requires Mike to “seamlessly” get onto Dave’s shoulders… But they make it really funny (and it wasn’t seamless AT ALL, it was almost painful to watch haha) Then Mike juggles, which I don’t really have any pics of, but he was amazing at it. He juggled 7 balls at once.

Then Dave climbs the Latter of Love with the help of Jill (poor audience member who got roped into it haha)

Then once he is at the top of the Ladder of Love, he proceeds to balance at the top while whipping a flower out of Jill’s hand.

Then they do their grand FINALLY. Some things definitely went wrong, but I have a video. If it uploads then great…you get to see….if not send me a message and I’ll send it to you. They juggle a chainsaw, bowling ball, and an egg.

So then I hear another stage yelling to go over there! So off I go!

And some guy (whose name escapes me) is going to trade in his car for a bike. So they hoist this guy up in this carriage thing and bring him to that stage.

Once he’s up there we find out that his job is 9 miles away. (Holy crap) So he is gonna trade in is Ford F150 for a bike. His truck will then be auctioned off and the money will be used to promote bike riding in Boise. So this guy whips out his title and signs it over and got his brand new bike! (and the entire time I wondered “is this guy drunk or just stupid?”)

So now I see this fenced off area in the middle of all this commotion and decide to go investigate. They had a pit of homemade bikes that you could go in and ride. There were lots, and the chair-bike was my fav.

Then once again, I hear a stage saying COME SEE MARCH FOURTH. March Fourth was this totally rad marching band. I can’t even describe it. It was neat! They were honestly the soundtrack of my day! They also had these people on stilts doing tricks and stuff as they played. The girl made funny faces, but all in all, she looked like she was having a blast. (I want some stilts!)

It was so much fun. But I decide it’s time to venture home and get some stuff done. When I get home Aaron calls and we chat it up of a while. Then when I hang up with him Casey calls. She wants to go out to a movie. And I’m like My day of awesome keeps on keeping on. So we go see The Time Travelers Wife. It was alright…sorta.
I didn’t take any pictures of this, so from now on you just get words…haha sorry.

We went to Edwards 22, after some guy we were with got us lost. So I took the lead and got them there, which totally pissed him off. Which made my day a little better. Haha. Luckly he left in the middle of the movie, and I was glad ‘cause he was rude.

Once the movie was out (and made us all cry) we went to Wally World to get Casey a mirror and some stuff. So I tagged along and played the Personal GPS. That was about it. They dropped me at my truck and they followed me home.

It was a long day. But it was a FANTASTIC day.
